Direct Mount Top Entry Semi Ball Valve is a commonly used valve type widely used in fluid control systems in industrial fields. It consists of valve body, valve cover, valve ball and valve stem.
The main feature of the design of the top-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve is that the position of the valve ball deviates from the valve stem axis. Usually the eccentric distance is half the radius of the valve ball. This design enables the valve ball to achieve very small friction and sealing torque during opening and closing, thereby reducing operating force and valve wear.
The working principle of the top-mounted eccentric semi-ball valve is to control the position of the valve ball by rotating the valve stem, thereby realizing the switching and regulation of the fluid. When the valve stem rotates, the valve ball deviates from the valve seat, thereby opening the channel and allowing fluid to pass through. Conversely, when the stem rotates to align the ball with the seat, the channel closes and fluid stops flowing.
